The 1^st International Conference on Scientific Opportunities with Advanced Attosecond Lasers

The advent of attosecond laser technology offers unprecedented and unique capacities to unveil the structure and dynamics of matter over spacetime scales down to attoseconds/nanometers. The Chinese scientific community is conceiving an advanced attosecond laser facility encompassing a wide range of electromagnetic spectrum from THz to X ray. The conference aims at bringing together the leading researchers with diverse backgrounds to explore the scientific and technological opportunities afforded by such facilities.

The conference consists of both online and on-site talks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In alignment with the main theme of the conference, the scientific questions that could be explored with attosecond laser facilities will be the focus of the conference.
